What is Halotherapy (Salt Therapy)?
Halotherapy, also know as Salt Therapy is dry salt therapy that is provided in a man made environment, utilizing a halo-generator. The halo-generator grinds pharmaceutical grade salt (99.99% pure sodium chloride) into microscopic particles and disperses the salt into a room like a dust. Breathing in pure sodium chloride opens the air ways and increases lung capacity.
Salt Therapy has amazing holistic benefits for respiratory care, skin conditions and emotional health. When breathed in, the salt attaches to toxins in the lungs and breaks up the mucus to help excrete it. It is common to get a cough or runny nose during or after a salt session. All of the salt rooms at Salt+Sol are active salt rooms, meaning we use halo-generators in each room for the benefits of Salt Therapy. The Himalayan salt is used for decoration only.

The Salt Eden
The Salt Eden offers 3 holistic therapies in 1 session: Salt Therapy, Sound Therapy & Color Therapy. Our room is beautifully decorated with 6000 pounds of Himalayan Salt on the floor and a starlit ceiling. Seating is either in a reclining chair or on the floor in the Himalayan Salt. We provide a yoga cushion and a Sherpa blanket for your comfort.
The Zen Den
The Zen Den offers 3 holistic therapies in 1 session: Salt Therapy, Sound Therapy & Color Therapy. Our room is beautifully decorated with blocks of Himalayan Salt on the floor and a starlit ceiling. Seating is in a reclining chair. Enjoy the heated Himalayan Salt Foot Domes which are great for detox, stress and fatigue. We also provide a Sherpa blanket for your comfort.
Family Sessions
Session includes 3 holistic therapies: Salt Therapy, Sound Therapy, and Color Therapy. Family sessions are in the Salt Eden. The room is beautifully decorated with 6000 pounds of Himalayan Salt on the floor and a starlit ceiling. Seating is primarily on the floor in the Himalayan Salt, but we have two reclining chairs in the room. Sherpa blankets are available, if needed.
You and your child are welcome to play and dig in the salt and spend quality time together, all while receiving the benefits of Salt Therapy. The Salt Room offers a multi-sensory experience and is fun for the whole family.
Family sessions are 30 Minutes of quiet play; beach toys are provided. No outside toys or blankets may be brought in, with exception of a book. Children 12 and under are FREE with a paying Adult. Additional children may be added $10 each.
